Autumn/Winter! Goto's Top Nature Experiences

We've prepared two types of experiences that are unique to GIVE ME FIVE's location surrounded by nature: one that takes you around the accommodation, and another that involves hopping on a tuk-tuk and heading out into the great outdoors!



❍ Experience fishing from a breakwater, from catching the fish to cleaning and eating it!

Let's go fishing at Kaizu Fishing Port, just a 5-minute leisurely walk from the inn. We'll provide all the necessary equipment, from the fishing spot and techniques to cleaning and preparing your catch afterward. The target fish is the high-class rockfish (scorpionfish)! It's simple enough for beginners and children to enjoy.

Complete fishing gear / Bait (such as sardines) / Life jacket

❍ Enjoy a blissful chill time. Starry sky × bonfire night

Light a fire at the stone circle in the camping area and simply relax. Roast sweet potatoes, roast marshmallows, or sip chai. If the weather is good, you can see the Milky Way in all its glory. If you wish, our staff member Ayakaze can even play acoustic guitar and sing for you. Let's make it a memorable night!

❍ Enjoy history, people, and scenery!

A tour of the Mitsuraku Peninsula

The accommodation is located on Fukue Island, in Mitsuraku, on the opposite side of the island from the main town. Explore the Mitsuraku Peninsula by tuk-tuk and experience the rich history of the Goto Islands, their vibrant culture, and the grandeur of nature! Customize your itinerary to suit your preferences from a variety of spots. You can even buy coffee or a bento box beforehand and enjoy eating and drinking while admiring the magnificent scenery! (Consultation required & purchases at each spot are at your own expense)

❍ Take a deep breath of island air! Mitsuiraku Hiking

As you walk, bathed in the westerly wind from the vast ocean, you'll feel your feet firmly planted on the island's soil. With each step, the knots in your mind from everyday life begin to unravel, various discoveries and questions about nature arise, and you catch glimpses of the lives of the island's inhabitants. Let's go and slowly enjoy the atmosphere there!

❍ One of Kyushu's 100 Famous Mountains! Climbing Mount Nanatsudake

At an elevation of 431m, Mount Nanatsudake in the Goto Islands offers a challenging climb with rocky sections and other features, making it feel like an athletic adventure! Start your ascent at the Nanatsudake Shrine at the foot of the trailhead, appreciating the history and observing the vegetation along the way. The jagged, saw-tooth ridgeline involves constant ups and downs. The view from the summit, overlooking the sea, is breathtaking.

I'll take you to a special sunset spot where you can watch the sun sink below the horizon! Bring a bucket of Corona, and you'll have the ultimate combination of beer and sunset. I'll take lots of photos, so please enjoy this blissful moment. I hope you'll see a sunset that you'll remember forever.
