Introducing Goto's dinner

"Besides bonfire BBQ and pizza making experiences, what else can we do for dinner?"

Here are some stories about the nights I've spent with various guests at my guesthouse.

A meal consisting of sukiyaki, miso soup, and white rice.
Rainy day? No problem. BBQ is out, but Goto Beef Sukiyaki is in!
A wooden table is laden with sashimi, fried food, shellfish, white rice, and miso soup. Three people gather around the table, creating a warm, homey dining scene.
Feasting on Goto’s local finds and our own home-grown summer veggies.
A man is opening a cooler box on a boat and putting fish inside. The sea and harbor are visible in the background. The atmosphere is chilly.
Straight from the sea: Today's catch, direct from our local fisherman pals!
An image of fish being grilled on a wire rack. The background is nighttime, and the flames emit a red glow as the fish cooks. It has a warm atmosphere.
Our guest's idea: Primitive-style roasted Sea Bream over the coals. Fresh, wild, and delicious!
A person in a red jacket is cooking fish outdoors under a tap. A lush, natural landscape with stacks of logs is visible in the background. The weather is sunny.
Straight from a friend’s fishing trip—Kingfish for everyone tonight!
A Japanese-style hot pot dish. Tofu, fish, and vegetables are simmering in it. In the background, a person is holding a small plate with chopsticks, and a tube of green wasabi is visible. It has a warm, homey atmosphere.
Winter comfort: Seasonal Blackfish hot pot with our very own farm-to-table Ponzu sauce.
A wooden table holds a platter of sashimi, grilled fish, white rice, miso soup, and salad. A child is holding rice in a yellow bowl. It's a cheerful dining atmosphere.
Our guests picked up a gorgeous sashimi platter at Marusho Fish Market!
A plate holds a brown, fried fish with a slice of lemon beside it. In the background is a person in orange clothing and a small plate of salad.
Catch, prep, and fry! Enjoying our freshly caught fish, deep-fried to perfection.

You are welcome to use the kitchen in the guesthouse and cook for yourself. However, if you don't have time to stop by the supermarket, or if you're not up for cooking after exploring the island, I can do the shopping and cooking for you. (There will be a fee for my services.)

Sometimes we get lucky and receive fish as a gift, or we make connections with fishermen, and we make full use of our network and information to procure ingredients from the delicious bounty of Goto. We'd love to share our dishes and ingredients, and I'd be thrilled if you could join us at the dinner table.

Also, if you want to have a BBQ or something similar in an outdoor kitchen outside,

Facility usage fee: ¥1,000 per person (kitchen facilities, cooking utensils, plates and cups, chairs, tables, firewood, etc.)

I'll take it.

Regardless of the customer's requests or travel style, we would be truly delighted if they could enjoy the cuisine of Goto.
